Quartz Sleeves

Did you ever notice when changing your UV lamp that your quartz sleeve looks discolored or does not look clean? This is a serious problem because it is effecting the transmittance of your UV rays from your lamp to your UV chamber.

Cleaning your quartz sleeve can be easy by using rubbing alcohol or vinegar. Be sure to take extra caution when removing your quartz sleeve from your UV system and please make sure that your shutoff valves and electric is turned off to your system.
